NGO APPLICATIONS
100 Women Who Care supports local initiatives by ensuring 100% of collected funds stay within San Miguel de Allende.
If your NGO is making a difference in our community,
you could be eligible for a grant!
- Must be an official A.C. (Asociación Civil).
- Must be based in and exclusively serving San Miguel de Allende. (National and international organizations are not eligible.)
- Must be nominated by a 100 Women Who Care member.
Eligibility Snapshot:
- Join the list of eligible NGOs: Submit a completed application with all required documents. Once approved, your NGO is added to our list.
How to Apply & Win:
- Attend Quarterly Meetings: A representative must register at the NGO table at the start of each meeting so we can enter your group’s name into the random drawing.
- Present Your Mission: If your NGO is one of the three drawn out of the hat that meeting, be prepared to give a five-minute presentation about your mission including how your funds will be used if you win the grant, followed by a two-minute Q&A.
- Winning Selection: Members who donated $1,000 pesos or more will vote for the winning NGO. The organization with the most votes receives all the pesos collected at the meeting that day!
- Winning NGOs must wait three years before being eligible to win again.
- We encourage NGOs to attend every quarterly meeting for networking and grant opportunities. NGOs that have not attended for three years will be removed from the list and will require re-nomination.
